Vice-Chairman
Bangladesh Crop Protection Association (BCPA)

The Bangladesh Crop Protection Association (BCPA) is a non-profit business organization officially recognized by the Ministry of Commerce and registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies & Firms.
In the early 1970s, just before Bangladesh’s independence, the government procured a substantial stockpile of pesticides, which remained stored in the godowns of Thana Agricultural Offices. However, concerns over wastage, misuse, and spoilage of this excess stock led to the initiative of transferring pesticide management to the private sector. This transition created the foundation for an organized association, originally established as the Pesticide Association of Bangladesh in 1979.
On January 29, 2001, the association evolved into its present form as the Bangladesh Crop Protection Association (BCPA), continuing its mission of supporting the industry and ensuring responsible pesticide management.
